In 1925, an influential group of industrialists formed the infamous Phoebus Cartel, forcing the world's first planned obsolescence. Their goal? To deliberately reduce the lifespan of light bulbs in order to boost sales. 100 years later, SMART AND GREEN is rewriting history with PHOIBOS, the first light bulb with an infinite lifespan, its name inspired by the Roman god of light.
